Kate Napier - this is me!

About Me

My background is in teaching and theatre. I am passionate about communication and its twinned elements of listening and expression.

I have worked for a long time in the field of training actors, and I also belong to a professional theatre company, working as director and producer. There is a fundamental connection for me between teaching, directing, theatre and my ministry.

I trained with the One Spirit Interfaith Foundation, going on to work with them as mentor and trainer.
My own tradition is Christian, and I have an active role in my local parish.
I lead services for a number of Unitarian communities in the South East.
Whatever I do for you will be informed by my spirituality, but not prejudiced by or biased towards my own religion, unless you wish it to be.

We are all one under heaven,
we are all part of a creation which is infinitely greater than our human understanding.
We have a responsibility to each other and to the world which sustains us.

I see all the strands of my experience as involved with service, all as concerned to communicate through listening to the other, whether that other is student or actor, or anyone in search of their truth.

Whether weaving a bespoke ceremony for you, making your stole or your altar, working with you or your group on voice and presence, or leading a Quiet Day for you, I am committed to honouring that place of presence, listening, exploring from it towards understanding, celebration, communion.
